Effingham Steel Services is the only contractor in the area capable of sawing from 20 mm up to 1300 mm for all sections including square, round, flat and ad hoc sections.

We have an extensive variety of saws, which are capable of performing blank cutting or one off operations. Our years of experience and ability to cut anything from bars to castings, in a wide range of different steel grades and alloys, allows us to meet customer needs for unusual and bespoke cutting requirements.

Automatic Bandsaws

For multiple cutting, with precise cutting to length and squareness tolerance, we have 3 fully automatic bandsaws, which have the capacity to saw anywhere from approximately 20 mm to 800 mm in section.

Semi – Automatic Bandsaws

A further 4 bandsaws can cut to customers’ engineering requirements, either sawing to size or weight, cross – cutting or sectioning of material.

Identification and traceability are maintained throughout the whole process, in accordance with our ISO9001:2015 procedures.

With our site been over 34,000 sq. feet, we have the space available to store your free issue material at our fully secure premises.
